Various Visual Music Projects| Curl

Sound painters and visual composers, CURL redefine stage performance. Its three members have a single goal: to combine music, voice, body and image to create an unpredictable, visceral spectacle.

I'm in charge of all Curl's image-related work, including set design, vjing, video clips, visual identity and photography.

Our era is witnessing the emergence of so many new technologies and forms of expression that it seems a shame to limit ourselves. Cinema, urban culture, digital art or the electronic scene are our multiple inspirations. Each of us comes up with what we like, bringing our ideas to the collective. Our strength lies in this plurality. Based in Lausanne, we are creative professionals working in a variety of fields. Dario Galizia offers his 15 years of expertise in video games, Teva Cuennet his musical and choreographic virtuosity, while Sébastien Galera gives CURL its aura.

Vidéo clips

Here are just a few of the clips produced for Curl. For live video mixing, there's a version made up of video loops. This looped format constitutes the material for Vjing (live video mixing).

Live show

Curl is first and foremost an hour-long show that oscillates between concert, theater and cinema. Each piece is designed from the ground up with a visual or scenographic specificity. Throughout the hour-long show, images sometimes accompany, sometimes take center stage.
